Pyroelectric Infrared Detector

Value Proposition:

The developed pyroelectric IR detector offers high sensitivity and fast response, making it ideal for industrial flame detection, gas sensing, spectroscopy and PIR-based motion detectors.

Summary Application:

A compact, uncooled pyroelectric infrared (IR) detector based on lithium tantalate has been developed, integrating a high-absorption black layer for enhanced responsivity and fast thermal response.  Application: The detector is suited for industrial flame detection, gas sensing, and handheld spectroscopic tools, enabling reliable IR sensing in safety, process control, and environmental monitoring systems.
