Abstract:
The present invention relates to a quinoline-triazole compound of Formula I and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The present invention further relates to the  process of synthesis and biological activity of quinoline-triazole compounds of Formula I as anti-filarial agents and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. These  compounds exhibited potent microfilaricidal and adulticidal activity against human filarial pathogen Brugia malayi when tested under in vitro and in vivo conditions  using rodent models of filariasis viz. Meriones unguiculatus and Mastomys coucha which are permissive to Brugian infection.
