Renewable Energy based DC Microgrid is an ideal solution for reliable electrification in remote area and critical installations.
Summary Application:

The DC microgrid is equipped with solar PV panels, energy storage system, and hierarchical control to power up critical loads in health centers and other establishments on DC power. It is field deployed and operational at CEERI dispensary for last 18 months.
Advantages:

1. The use of DC voltage increases the overall system efficiency.
2. It has multilayer control for robust energy management.
3. Solid-state protection has been incorporated for DC arcing issue.
