| Abstract: | The present disclosure relates to a perovskite-based mixed metal oxides represented by the formula ABX3 and a method of preparation thereof. The perovskite-based mixed metal oxide is represented by formula ABX3 wherein A is rare-earth metal(s), alkaline metal(s), ions with a large radius or mixture thereof, B represents transition metal(s), and X is oxygen and the metal oxides have a shape selected from cube, oval, rod or mixture thereof. The invention also relates to obtaining multiple shapes of a single perovskite-based mixed metal oxide with varying exposed facets affording broad tunability of the oxides. |
