Advantages:
  • Cry1EC is a novel and patented δ-endotoxin. It is most effective protein for the control of S. litura. It is also effective against P. Gossypeilla.
  • Cry1EC-GM cotton is resistant to two cotton pests S. litura and P. Gossypiella.
    BollGardII GM cotton varieties no longer provide resistance against these insects.
  • Cry1EC-cotton technology can fill the gap.    
    Cry1EC-technology provides environmentally safe and economically competitive alternative to chemical pesticides.
