| Abstract: | The present disclosure relates to a hydrophilic composite, comprising 2nd bimetallic component M3M4 (e.g. CoMoO4) deposited on 1st bimetallic component M1M2 (e.g. NiMoO4), supported on a support (e.g. Ni foam) (also termed as M3M4Oy@M1M2Ox/support); wherein the composite has dual structural property without the need of binder/additive and to a process of preparing the hydrophilic composite (M3M4Oy@M1M2Ox/support) and uses thereof. The present disclosure also relates to the environmentally benign production of green hydrogen through HER (hydrogen evolution reaction), and OER (oxygen evolution reaction) reactions using M3M4Oy@M1M2Ox/support as cathode or anode or both. |
