| Abstract: | The invention presents the antibiofilm properties, cord formation destructor, reduction of cell densities in biofilm and cytotoxicity of 2-amino-benzofuran derivative when used with rifampicin. Synergistic effect of 2-amino-benzofuran derivative with rifampicin show destruction of cord formation, inhibition of biofilm formation, reduces the cells density of M. abscessus inside the biofilm with negligible cytotoxicity in C2C12 myoblast cell. |
