| Abstract: | The present invention relates to an insecticidal composition comprising of N-(phenylthio)phthalimide (NPP), neem oil and chitosan and method of preparation thereof. The composition of the present invention is useful against insects selected from Helicoverpa armigera, Mythimna separata, Spodoptera frugiperda and other Lepidopteran species of insects. This composition can serve as a formulation that possesses a lower probability of acquiring resistance. |
