| Summary Application: | A thermal insulation coating was developed indigenously using a simple spray process. Thermal Insulation coating for surface heat shielding application and in particular to address the heating issue on fuselage areas of SARAS aircraft. |
| Advantages: | The CEMILAC certification of the coating is in progress. Towards this, several environmental and mechanical tests such as salt fog, thermal shock, dolly adhesion, random vibration tests have been carried out. The coating has qualified the random vibration test and complies with the RoHS and REACH regulations. Other important tests as per ASTM and RTCA-DO-160G standards for the certification have been undertaken. |
