| Abstract: | The present invention relates to the grease formulation comprising polyol based organoclay and triazole based hindered phenolic multifunctional additive and process for preparation thereof. More particularly, the present invention relates to a process for preparation of triazole based hindered phenolic multifunctional additive that incorporates a triazole heterocyclic ring and a hindered phenolic moiety in its molecular design for polyol based organoclay grease formulation. The triazole nucleolus based Multifunctional additive shows improved properties over existing additive that have unsustainable ways of disposal since it has zinc, sulphur and phosphorus components in the composition. |
