Abstract: The synthesis of graphene, bi-, multi-layer from highly oriented graphite by a method of mechanical and chemical exfoliation. The  multilayer graphene flakes are mechanically exfoliated from highly oriented graphite through adhesive tape and consequently flakes  are collected in liquid medium by chemical exfoliation. Further flakes from liquid medium are carefully positioned on wafer?s surface  followed by baking. The multi-layer graphene flakes from the wafer are again peeled to get thin and large area of graphene.
