Value Proposition:

High purity bio-porous silica (~99%), high specific surface area porous carbon (~1500 m2/g), high yield lignin and cellulose are derived with zero-discharge, ecofriendly and scalable process.

  • Process for the production of multiple high-value products such as bio-porous silica, lignin, cellulose, and porous carbon with high specific surface area (~1500 m2/g) from lignocellulosic biomass and bio-digestate.
  • Employs a strategic zero-waste approach to significantly reduce the environmental burden and carbon footprint.

  • Biosilica: Rubber industry as a reinforcing filler, additive in building construction, drug delivery studies, bio-imaging, biosensors, supercapacitors, and as a support in catalysis.
