| Abstract: | The present invention relates to a vehicle mounted and self-driven mechanized drain cleaning system. The system includes - a powerful centrifugal slurry dispensing unit for sucking slurry from manholes, a mechanical filtration unit for filtering gray water from slurry which is re-used for jetting purpose, a high pressure hydro jetting unit which can plush out the sewer lines efficiently and can handle both fresh water and filtered sewer water for jetting, a hydraulically controlled de-silting unit for picking and dropping silt and other debris from the sewer chambers, a Roding unit for de-chocking of sewer lines by removing any foreign materials like, clothes and polythene bags etc. from inside the sewer pipes with the help of specially designed flexible steel rods and a sewer pipeline inspection system which can be easily mounted on to the self-propelled hydro jetting nozzle for conducting post drain cleaning inspection of the cleaned drains. Power from vehicle's engine reach the respective sub systems through the transmission shaft and a threeway split gear box mechanism by selecting pneumatically operated levers on the power distribution panel. As a whole, the system has been designed for giving one point solution for all issues related to drain cleaning by efficiently accommodating all the sub systems on the chassis of a standard BS-VI vehicle with suitable modifications that makes it integrated and compact system. | ||
