Production of reduced viscosity fuel oil by visbreaking of petroleum.

Visbreaking of Petroleum residues is done by mild thermal cracking for production of fuel oil with reduction of viscosity, improved pour point & stability and for up-gradation of residual fractions.

• Soaker visbreaking requires smaller furnace and less waste heat recovery equipment leading to a capital saving of 10-15 percent
• Fuel consumption in case of soaker visbreaking is approx 15 percent ower than that for coil visbreaking
