A new method for the preparation of  Yttria Stabilized Zirconia reinforced Nickel-Cobalt based Metal matrix Composite Coating.

Used in rotary and reciprocating engines of light weight aircrafts, UAVs, micro UAV, hang gliders and automobiles.

  • The coating has a microhardness of >400VHN for a thickness of 100microns.
